INTERNAL COMPLAINTS COMMITTEE (ICC) AGAINST SEXUAL HARASSMENT
In compliance with the UGC
guidelines and the directives of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India,
the College has established an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)to
provide a safe, secure, and supportive environment for all students and women
employees.
The Committee is dedicated to creating an
academic and workplace atmosphere free from harassment and works with the
following objectives:
- To prevent, address, and redress complaints of
sexual harassment on campus.
- To build a gender-sensitive and respectful
environment that upholds dignity and equality.
- To provide a fair, transparent, and confidential
grievance redressal mechanism.
- To conduct awareness, orientation, and sensitization
programmes on gender equity and safety.
Accordingly, the College has constituted the
following Committee, which functions actively and effectively to uphold the
policy of zero tolerance towards sexual harassment:
